Lake Placid, NY – December 10, 2024 – The Lake Placid Horse Shows (LPHSA), Sponsored by Bainbridge Farms, LLC, and Presented by Sea Shore Stables, LLC, will host two FEI horse shows in 2025 with both weeks rated CSI3*. The Lake Placid Horse Shows are set to return to newly renovated show rings at the North Elba Showgrounds, June 24-July 6, 2025.
Major upgrades underway at Lake Placid include the redesign and reconstruction of all four show rings with state-of-the-art all-weather footing installed by Travis Gould and his JTWG, Inc. In addition to the new show rings, the grounds renovation also includes major improvements to the schooling and stabling areas.
Celebrating 56 years of equestrian tradition, the 2025 Lake Placid Horse Shows will offer a full schedule of world-class competition at the CSI3* level as well as national classes for all levels of riders and horses. “In discussions with exhibitors, we have had an overwhelming number of requests to hold FEI shows,” said Philip Richter, Chairman of LPHSA, Inc. “With the redesign and reconstruction of all our rings with new state-of-the-art, all-weather footing, we are now positioned to host exhibitors looking for every type of competition, whether it be FEI or national classes for juniors, amateurs and hunters. This will be a whole new exhibitor experience!”
The Lake Placid Horse Shows, sponsored by Bainbridge Farms, LLC, and presented by Sea Shore Stables, LLC, return to the North Elba Showgrounds, June 24-July 6, 2025, offering a full schedule of world-class competition with more than half-a-million dollars in prize money. The newly upgraded Grand Prix ring will be able to host the highest-level showjumping competitions, including FEI, while the expanded Jumper Annex ring will provide an enhanced experience for tomorrow’s up and coming jumper riders. The two new hunter rings will be both separated and larger than in the past and supported by an enlarged schooling area and better spectator viewing.
